A "I've undertaken project life costings in the oil industry using software developed in-house. While there are a number of vendors and consultants claiming expetrise in this area you might first want to visit the Norsok site (a Nowegian oil industry standards group) they provide free documentation on how to do this type of work and downloadable excel templates. You don't say what industry you are in, so I don't know if the templates will be particualrly relevant to you but you might want to take a look anyway" .
