Kenneth Lees has over 20 years' experience of business risk analysis in the process industry. He has significant experience of developing software-based availability models (e.g. MAROS) typically as part of Maintenance and Integrity Rationalisation Processes (MIRP). Recently, he developed a comprehensive model-based MIRP for the Morecambe Bay gas facilities (UK) comprising 6 offshore and 2 onshore plants for the purposes of identifying major Opex savings. He also has undertaken various safety/reliability engineering and availability assignments with Shell Expro (UK) on projects whose total value exceeded £1.6bn. He has has a BSc (Joint Hons) in Civil Engineering & Economics from Dundee University and a Masters Degree in Safety, Risk & Reliability Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
